MISSION 1:
Did you think that all the questions ended after your job interview? GOTCHA. Oh, don’t give me that look. I KNOW answering questions can be annoying, but I ask you: how can we create a creature if we don’t know a bit about OURSELVES as creatures?

For your first mission, we ask that you grab your SKETCHBOOK or whatever you are most comfortable drawing with (such as PHOTOSHOP or other DIGITAL TOOLS).

Once you have your tools, write these three questions at the top of your page:

-
What makes something human?
-
What makes something animal?
-
What makes something a creature?

We need YOU to answer these questions, Creator. Once you’ve thought of them you truly know what it takes to make a creature. Write your answers on your paper. You are encouraged to draw your answers as well: what does a creature even look like, anyway?

After you’ve thought a lot about these questions and wrote them all down, we need you to think about YOURSELF, creator. You are human, so what do YOU look like? So pick up your pencil, mouse, tablet, or whatever you draw with and create for us a portrait of yourself. Just your head or your whole body, it doesn’t matter. Think about the questions you answered while you draw -- what makes YOU human?

After you’ve created your portrait, send it to GOOGLE CLASSROOM so that we (your amazingly smart bosses...what..did I say that out loud?) can see all the effort you made!
Once you’ve completely finished your mission, give your teammates a high-five and move onto MISSION 2.
